Hikamia is the name of the journal to be a forum for writing or research for the Sufism and Tarekat Study Program. Hikamia was born in 2019. At the beginning of its publication, Hikamia had 10 articles with a total of 110 pages n in the print edition without being registered with LIPI to get P-ISSN. In its development in Volume 1 No. 2 of 2021, Hikamia got no. ISSN Online: 2808-2044 (Online Media). The Hikamia Journal's current efforts are to try to obtain National Accreditation level, with that we are trying to make changes to make this journal consistent with the content and duration of its printing period.

Initially the Hikamia Journal used CMS OJS Version 2. Then in 2022 it was upgraded to OJS Version 3 but in its implementation a technical error occurred which caused the journal system to have to be rebuilt from scratch, so there were several articles in the initial issue that were published quickly, due to the error. , This change is expected to have an impact on the quality of articles and journal systems, in order to improve the quality of the journal. So in the September 2023 issue there will be changes to the article header which is made more attractive and collects more complete information.
